An innocent man is thrown into a sea fortress for fourteen years, escapes inside a dead man's burial sack, digs up a fortune on a deserted island, and then spends the rest of the book taking apart the three men who put him there, slowly, and by their own weaknesses. An insane story, and it never lets up.
